I just read in The Week that a poll by Harris Interactive states that 72% of heterosexual males in the US would NOT change their opinion.

I thought this poll was way off and would be around 50%.

hahahaha while I do love that commercial, and I like Gilbert, he's nowhere near my favorite player.

I've actually discussed this before...Gilbert's a play that I love because he's on my team...but if he was on any other team, I'd probably despise him.

But regardless, that commercial is still crucial. Especially the music.

I think the Harris poll question was too vague....I mean wouldn't most guys change their opinion atleast a little if their lifelong favorite player turns out being gay?

I really could care less about who's gay and who isn't but, if I were to find out Eddie Murray was gay I would be a little disappointed (not that there's anything wrong with it) it wouldn't change my memories of him but it would feel different.

Like when a slow song comes on the radio you don't go cranking it up with a bunch of people listening to you....you won't catch me cranking up

Honestly, i wouldn't want my favorite player to be a homo. More for future reasons of being able to tell my kids about my favorite players growing up (Barkley & AI). If one of them was a *** that would indirectly telling my kid that being a homo is ok. While i guess its acceptable to be a homo, I personally wouldn't want one of my kin to be a homo nor think that it's acceptable to be one.
